Berners of Old Hickory is a small breeder of Bernese Mountain Dogs in Mt. Juliet, TN. We love our dogs very much and consider them a part of our family.

They live in our home not in a kennel and sleep in our bedroom with us at night.

HAPPY 10th BIRTHDAY! Gus hit a BIG milestone this week for Berners. He hit double digits and we are so proud of him! He is the best boy, never meets a stranger and is always ready for a car ride! Happy birthday Gussie we love you so much.

Happy 12th Birthday Aspen! As a breeder of Bernese Mountain Dogs this is a proud moment. We are so happy to have had one of Moose and Lucy's babies make it to 12 like Lucy did. We love you sweet girl.

After being sold at an auction thru an auction K9 Broker and landing in a pet store locked in a cage, being on display like a mannequin in a dress shop then finally someone bought him December 21, 2025. The problem, she could not have him in the living conditions she was in so he was given up in less than 24 hours. A dear friend from Mike's Franklin Fire Days rescued him then figured out same thing, she could not have him but gave a brilliant effort to give it a try. We got the call from her on Dec 23rd, 2025 and naturally said bring him here, we will find him a home. This lil dude made his arrival at Berners of Old Hickory that night about 6pm. Lil Dude was carried to the vet later and was diagnosed as healthy but with a UTI. He has been nursed back to normal and has made friends with everyone here. With that all being said please make OFFICIALLY Welcome to our Berner, Dachshund, Bassett Hound Family our new Lil Dude,

5 weeks old. Still the quietest, most content litter I have ever had. They will be ready for homes in 3 weeks. Three females and one male still available. Will come with all 6 week and 8 week shots. They have had dew claws removed and will come with full AKC registration.
