This is Loki. He’s a new client. I had to share him because he’s so darn handsome, but also because when I met his owners, I said, “oh wow, you don’t see brown Merle every day!” And his dad said, “we actually do see it every day.” Solid 10/10 dad joke. Thank you, good sir.

Just a reminder that those cute Christmas puppies turn into elderly dogs in a matter of a decade, 6-8 years for large and giant breeds. As someone who has made a career out of caring for dogs, I urge anyone thinking of buying a puppy to consider getting a pet from the pound after the Christmas fever is over. In February and March, rescues become overwhelmed with puppies that need good homes.

Just to be clear, my Christmas appointments are all taken, these appointments will be the first and second weeks only, and for dogs 60lbs and under. At this time, I am not taking new clients. If you have been a client in the past but are not on a schedule, I can’t take you. I know it can be annoying, but in my mind, all I can think is, “god is good.”

The choice to do this is very hard. I’m hoping to take new clients again in a few months.

Some people like a noticeable skirt on their dog. However, if you want a well blended body that doesn’t make your dog look like he’s about to star in the next luau, skirts, longer legs, and most breed cuts are a specialty of mine. Everything is always well blended and just looks like…your dog. Well balanced, sleek, and shiny. This is Bradley, and he is the handsomest.
