Three of Our Happy Place riders went to a show today and did amazing! A barn isnā€™t just about a place you board your horseā€¦ itā€™s about cultivating an atmosphere of friendship, respect, acceptance and so much more. As a barn owner, I love seeing my boarders and staff become genuine friends and doing these things together. Way to go ladies! Canā€™t wait to see more adventures ā¤ļø

The end of an era ā€¦ As our dear Olivia goes off to collegeā€¦ the barn wonā€™t be the same without you! We watched you grow from an awkward teen into a beautiful young lady. You were Quincyā€™s favorite human, a hard worker, a great student and a wonderful friend to everyone (2 legged and four) we will all miss you but we know youā€™re going to have great adventures and do amazing things. You better come visit us when youā€™re home from college! ā¤ļø

My gosh these past couple months have been hard with lossesā€¦ we took Spooky to the vet today because we thought he might have a tooth infectionā€¦heā€™d recently lost weight and wasnā€™t himself. The vet found so many things failing on him and said the kindest thing to do would be to say goodbye. He was the sweetest guy once he trusted you. He showed up at Our Happy Place one day and we got him fixed and vaccinated and heā€™s lived here ever since. His bestie Winnie is going to be so sad without him.šŸ’” his big head and quiet presence will be missed around the barn. Give Bubbles a rub when you see her up there šŸŒˆ rest easy sweet boy šŸ’” you were loved.

A huge thank you to Farmerā€™s Hand Maintenance for another barn project well done! They took out some of our old stall mats, leveled the stalls and re-matted them. This will make it much easier for cleaning! šŸ§¹
