I’m starting to get good eye contact from all the puppies! 😍

I pair the kissy sound with food, and clearly they’re catching on! I didn’t even think about it before I did it, but when they all got fired up I knew that they were ready to eat! They eat 3 meals of mush per day, and they still get milk from mom too several times per day. The cloth pads in their pen get changed out throughout the day too, but the potty pads are spot cleaned to keep the odor to help the puppies learn to keep their bathroom area separate from their eating, sleeping, and playing area. The whole pen is overhauled in the morning for a fresh start, and sometimes again later in the day if I have been out and missed too many little messes. My schedule mostly revolves around the needs of the puppies at this point.

We played outside for the first time. We didn’t last long in the heat, but we are back inside, rehydrated, and napping to process our experience. 🥰 ((may want to turn your volume down, lots of little whines in this video))

Tonight before bed, we played a little and tried water for the first time. This age is a little messy, but it sure is fun!

They have completed their transition from potatoes to puppies, and are in their larger romper room space now experiencing new things like slippery surfaces and things to go over/under. They clearly love the slide that mom gave us for his litter to enjoy!
