My handsome little buddy Barney did great at Lowe’s again today! We worked him all over the store around lots of distractions. We saw several other dogs there today. Lots of people stopped to say hi, including several of my former clients. A sweet little girl asked to pet Barney which made him very happy.

We made a video of him staying in a Down/Stay while I left him alone (although he didn’t know I was still able to see him). This is something I do in the right circumstances to build the dog’s confidence and control. We waited by the grills, but unfortunately no one cooked us any burgers so we left. Lol

Adding in some eggs to my dogs’ meal for their health. You can also add, sardines, blueberries, apples, carrots, or green beans.

Welcome my new little buddies Ronin (left) and Wallace to the ABC Pack! Ronin is a 4yr Maltipoo whose name means ‘Beautiful song). Wally is 1yr Maltese/mix. As you can imagine, both dogs are full of energy and love to bark and jump up. We taught them the Place command which helps to bring calmness to the house. Both dogs did great.

We also talked about using things like the Lick Mat in my recent video to help with mental stimulation. We finished the lesson with a little bit of playtime with both dogs enjoyed.

Check out this short video on how a Lick Mat can help give your dog a nutritious treat and provide mental stimulation for your dog. This is the equivalent of taking your dog for a long walk. It’s also a great way to help make Place or crate more fun for them too.

Welcome my new little buddy Luigi to the ABC Pack! This handsome 4 month old Yorkie did great on his first lesson. We taught him the Place command which is one that every dog should know. Then we set him up on a proper house training schedule. We finished the lesson with some playtime. As you can see, Luigi is a very sweet puppy.

Another great lesson with my little buddy Crissy! We reviewed her commands and then worked on teaching her to leave things alone like socks. We finished off a busy lesson by giving this sweet puppy a lick mat. These are great for mental stimulation. We made a video about it which I’ll post later.
