⚠️ Pet Safety Reminder ⚠️

Did you know some Easter treats and flowers can be deadly for our furry family members?

🌸 Lilies & Cats
Even a small exposure to lilies—petals, leaves, pollen, or even the water in the vase—can cause kidney failure in cats. If you have cats at home, it’s safest to keep all lilies out of reach (or better yet, out of the house entirely).

🍫 Chocolate & Dogs
Chocolate contains theobromine, which dogs can’t process well. Even small amounts can lead to vomiting, rapid heart rate, seizures, or worse—especially with dark or baking chocolate.

🐾 What You Can Do:
• Choose pet-safe flowers 🌼
• Keep chocolate stored securely 🍫
• Share this to help protect other pets

Your awareness could save a life ❤️

🌸 Lily Warning for Cat Owners 🌸

Lilies may be beautiful, but they are extremely toxic to cats. Even small exposures—like licking pollen off their fur or drinking water from a vase—can cause severe kidney failure.

⚠️ The most dangerous varieties include:
• Easter lilies
• Tiger lilies
• Daylilies
• Asiatic lilies

Signs of lily poisoning can appear quickly and may include:
🐾 Vomiting
🐾 Lethargy
🐾 Loss of appetite
🐾 Increased or decreased urination

If your cat has been exposed to lilies, seek veterinary care immediately. Early treatment can save lives.

For cat-friendly homes, it's safest to keep lilies completely out of the house.

💚 Your pet’s safety is our priority. If you ever have concerns about plant toxicity, reach out to us—we’re happy to help.

Even small amounts can cause vomiting, diarrhea, rapid heart rate, tremors, or seizures. Dark and baking chocolate are the most dangerous.

Keep candy out of reach, and if your pet gets into chocolate, call your vet or the ASPCA Animal Poison Control Center at (888) 426-4435.

Annual veterinary exams are a vital part of keeping your pet healthy, happy, and by your side for years to come. Just like humans, pets benefit from regular checkups—even when they seem perfectly fine. These visits help us catch early signs of illness, update essential vaccinations, and provide guidance on nutrition, behavior, and preventive care.
Veterinary medicine is constantly advancing, and our goal is to partner with you using the latest knowledge and tools to ensure your pet’s best quality of life. Think of annual exams as proactive healthcare—preventing problems before they start and giving you peace of mind.
