Copper Ridge Animal Hospital will be closed on Friday
July 4th in observance of Independence Day. Our office will reopen on Saturday July 5th from 8 AM-10 AM for boarding drop off and pick up. If you have a pet emergency when our office is closed, please contact Veterinary Emergency Services at (540) 248-1051. They are located at 465 Lee Highway in Verona.

Summer is here! 🌞 Please keep these summer safety tips in mind. It's time for vacations, summer outings, and get togethers. It's also a great time to make sure your pet's microchip information is up to date.

Don't forget Summer brings increased risk of fleas, ticks, and mosquitoes. Be sure you are stocked up for the Summer on your pet's flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. Call us if you need to order any of these products for the Summer.

Remember to schedule your pet's Summer boarding! We get extra busy this time of year! Help us spread the word that we've opened our kennels to new clients this Summer (new pet boarding evaluation required).

Life has been pretty exciting for Dr. Houff (previously Dr. Evans) since she joined Copper Ridge. She's gotten married and settled into a new home in the area. She has quickly found her place and is loved by us all (especially Helen who is her #1 fan). Is your pet due for an annual wellness exam, hasn't been in for awhile, or you'd just like her to meet you and your fur baby to establish care? We are offering 10% off visits scheduled with Dr. Houff during the month of May if you mention this post. I promise you and your fur babies will love her!

Does your dog have his passport?? Will your cat travel well in your suitcase? If your answer is no you might need pet boarding services. We have exciting news for you! Our boarding facility is once again open to New Clients!! Our boarding facility offers climate controlled facilities, a fenced in play yard, Purina pet food provided, a wonderful and caring kennel staff who will take care of your pet even on weekends and holidays. A new client boarding evaluation visit is required for all new client pets. This will include a brief exam, discussion of medical records including any medical conditions and the status of vaccinations. Call today to inquire and get on our schedule. 540-828-2724 🐾

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT!!!
Monday April 28th-Saturday May 3rd we will be freshening up our reception area and lobby. For your safety and convenience we have temporarily relocated our reception area. You will now be able to check in at the door to the right of our main entrance (signs are posted). You will still be able to speak with your pet's medical team and all services will still be provided as normal. We'll just ask that you wait in your car or in our temporary waiting area while some of our building including our exam rooms will be off limits. If you prefer a curbside visit just call 540-828-2724 upon arrival. Thanks so much for your patience and understanding!!
