WARNING!!!! Please wear safety goggles when using any dremel tool.
I have been dremeling dogs nails for probably 20 or 30 years. I have never had an issue till last weekend. I dremeled the boys nails and dust was flying as usual. My eyes got a little dusty and I rubbed them of course. A few days later even blinking was an issue with lots of tearing and then eventually some stabbing pain. On Wednesday I called and got an emergency appointment with our Ophthamologist. He numbed my eye with eye drops and He removed a clear piece of nail stabbing me in the eye that I had been rubbing deeper. He told me I would be in pain later and oh baby yes I was. It’s now Saturday and my eye is back to 100% now. He told me it would be much better in 24 hours. That didn’t happen but three days later Yes it is. So I will be wearing safety goggles from now on when dremeling.

I just love using this Dremel because it is rechargeable and cordless and has a led light that shines on the dogs nails as you are working and it slightly lights up the quick so you know how short to go. I bought this dremel at one of those big hardware stores.
