Almost back to a normal routine and starting to open books for outside horses to swim after the 2 camps.
What an adventure it was and the amount of amazing horse girls coming up through open shows, super shows, and rodeos is pretty cool to see.
The relationships the girls made with each other and their horses will absolutely last a lifetime.
Sharing all the knowledge I have learned in my 30 years of horse experience is what I live for. Helping people with their horses, their riding, their pattern work, and all the medical stuff I gained through my own horse injuries (unfortunately), being a vet tech, and all the rehab courses taken, brings me an extreme amount of joy that I can’t even explain.

We may have some plans in the works to possibly open up some weekends to do the same stuff for 3 days. ❤️

What better way to get ready for a busy weekend in Iowa Falls! You pack the trailer and we will have them in shape and feeling good❤️

We had 1 opening come available in the July 19-24th rehab and conditioning camp! It won’t last long so reach out quickly.

There are moments that remind me exactly why we do what we do at 2nd Wind Rehab ❤️

Watching our clients’ horses go out happy, healthy, and ready to do their jobs is the greatest reward. Seeing them run hard, give everything they have, and watching the smiles on their riders’ faces makes every late night, early morning, and weekend spent caring for these athletes completely worth it.

We are beyond proud of every 2nd Wind client and sponsored rider that went down that alley this weekend. Thank you for trusting us with your horses and allowing us to be a small part of your journey. Watching the dedication, hard work, and partnership between horse and rider come together is what makes it all worthwhile.

And a HUGE congratulations to our very own, Cami Owens and the incredible Move Over Martha on their Reserve Championship win in the slot race tonight! 🏆✨

The energy in that arena was unforgettable — the loud cheers, the excitement, and the support from everyone watching helped fuel Martha’s run and made the moment even more special. Watching Cami and Martha out there doing their “dance” is always absolutely incredible.

And that was after she LARC tested over 20 horses today!!! Moments like this are exactly why we pour our hearts into these horses.
