Dragon Fly Sport Horses All our horses are athletic, have great temperaments, conformation, soundness, trainability, and pedigrees. We are currently based in southern Colorado.

Raising and Training Iberian Sport Horses, focusing on athletic, good minded, foals with potential for Working Equitation, Eventing, and general all-round riding. Iberian Sport Horses: Athleticism, Temperament, and Versatility

Our goal is to raise and promote quality Iberian Sport Horses as all-round sport horses, with a focus on Eventing and Working Equitation. Some of the things our horses are

trained to do include: Eventing, Working Equitation, Dressage, Jumping, Trail Riding, Cavalry Reenactment, and Western. Check out our website for information and pictures of all our horses.

We finally got around to working more of the horses today. Both grey boys, Chaval and Victor, had a really good ride. Tao did some in-hand work and was saddled for the first time. He did wonderful! He took to the saddle like he's been doing it for a long time. Next time he should be ready to start riding! Secret also did something new. She did some ponying for the first time. We only stayed in the corral as she wasn't sure about being that close to Victor. Next time we will try to ride out of the corral and see how she does. Phoenix also got a pony lesson for the first time. He took to it like he has everything else. First time and he figured it out right away! He continues to impress me as much or more than any horse I've worked with! He is very brave and calm and willing. Phoenix is definitely a keeper! Pictures are posted of all the first-time horse activities. Yesterday Bella Tizana had her first, with the halter. She wasn't thrilled about being contained, but didn't mind the halter. We will keep working with all the young horses! They are learning very quickly!

Secret Bonita DFS, Iberian Sport Horse filly, born March 9, 2023, out of TB mare Foxy Oxy (Oxbow out of an A. P. Indy mare), by Plutao d'Noble (Xemino, out of Eliana R by Saphiro). She is a very well bred filly with lots of athletic ability. She will excel going in any direction as a sport horse. Her lofty movement, and lightness on her feet, just improves as she is maturing! Secret is very sweet, and loves attention. She is ready for her own person to continue her training, and to be her best friend!
Currently registered with IALHA and will be registered with Iberian Warmblood Registry and the Foundation of the Andalusian Horse.
We are located in southern CO, near Alamosa.
