What are the benefits of spaying or neutering your cat? For female cats, spaying reduces the likelihood of developing mammary tumors and experiencing other reproductive health issues as they age. Issues affecting the reproductive organs can include ovarian tumors and pyometra, a bacterial infection of the uterus. Removal of these organs eliminates those risk factors. In male cats, neutering means they are no longer at risk of testicular cancer and are far less likely to sustain injuries as the result of catfights. Both females and males avoid sexually transmitted diseases by being spayed or neutered. To learn more about spaying or neutering your pet, visit our website today. https://bit.ly/4lc65Xb

How hot is too hot for your pet?

If it’s too hot for your hand, it’s too hot for their paws.

☀️ Temps over 85°F can be dangerous, especially with high humidity.
🚗 And a parked car? It can hit over 100°F in minutes—even with windows cracked.
🐶 Keep walks short, paws protected, and never leave pets unattended in the heat!

It’s Pet Hydration Awareness Month, which makes it a great time to check in on how much water your cat is getting. Many cats rely on their food for moisture, so if they’re eating mostly dry kibble, they could be falling short on their water intake. Wet food and pet fountains can help, but sudden changes in drinking habits might be worth a closer look. Are they drinking enough—or just pretending to be interested in the bowl again?🐱💧
