Our Story
Hi! I'm Amanda Weinraub. I'm the owner of Pure Love Pet Sitting. My Story My pet sitting story begins in 2001, when I started a business called "Pet Au Pair". It was very successful, had 10 employees, and a lot of happy clients. However, when I had my first child (in 2004), I decided to be a full-time caregiver for him. He was at risk for autism and we had no idea what was going to happen. It was quite scary and very time consuming as you can imagine. So, I sold my business to one of my employees and had went on to have two more delightful children. Now after the kids have grown up some (sniffle, sniffle) I wanted to start back up again. Besides being a HUGE animal lover, I also have a love for business and marketing. I love delivering a great service to my clients, and I love that I'm able to fill a very important need for people as well as get to spend much of my time loving on your fur babies. It truly doesn't get better than this.
I am also a huge fan of Hilton Head Island. It's my favorite family vacation spot. I love to ride bikes. I love organizing and decorating. My style is Farmhouse and you might see me post about that from time to time. (I almost became a designer.) I am happily married, I have 3 amazing kiddos, ages 15, 11 and 9 and have 3 kitties plus my sweet Cavapoo puppy.
So, now that you know about my personal story, please let me explain my philosophy about owning a professional pet sitting service.
I really understand the fact that leaving your pets and home in the care of someone else is an extremely serious responsibility. I take that to heart and I aim to make you a raving fan of our service.
