Attention all Easyvet clients! We do not accept walk-ins before 1pm on Tuesdays. Tuesday mornings we perform surgery and are unable to see appointments. If you have an emergency during this time please seek care at an emergency center.
Walk-ins will be accepted (for an additional fee) during the following times:
Monday- 9am to 4pm
Tuesday- 1pm to 4pm
Wednesday- 9am to 4pm
Thursday- 9am to 4pm
Friday- 9am to 4pm
Saturday- 9am to 12pm

On Saturday we had a visit from Armani, a 1 year old Great Dane. Armani was suffering from a bumpy rash on his belly and hair loss. After performing a skin scrape it was determined that Armani was suffering from demodectic mange. This type of mange is not transmissible from one animal to another, but is rather a reaction to an overpopulation of Demodex mites- mites that are naturally present on dogs’ skin. Armani did so well for his appointment! He was sent home with medication, and we hope to see much improvement at his recheck.

We will be closed On Monday, February 17. We will be open again the following day. Have a great weekend!

Yesterday we met this adorable little lady, Missy! Missy was visiting us with her brother, Radar. Missy is 14 years old, and her owner told us she has no teeth, so that tongue is always out! Isn’t she cute?

Here’s another peek into our microscope! Today‘s pictures show an ear cytology from a dog with very inflamed, red ears. The bacteria shown below is referred to as rods and, in these photos, are at an exceptionally large number. Rods are among the hardest ear infections to treat, as they have a higher likely-hood of being resistant to medications. These ear infections also tend to be painful, causing redness, discharge, and sometimes scabbing/crusting in the ears.

On Monday we met this cutie! This is Lenny, a 10 week old Chihuahua mix who needed a vaccine, f***l testing and heart worm prevention. The staff could not stop walking by his room to catch a peek of this boy! We hope to see Lenny again in a few weeks to booster his vaccine.

Yesterday we were visited by Odin, a very handsome boy who knew how to pose on a chair for his pictures. During his visit Odin received a Rabies vaccination, nail trim and ear cleaning. We loved getting to see Odin again!
