VCF: Helping Veterinarians Help Pets

The Veterinary Care Foundation sets up and administrates funds for Veterinarians to provide tax-deductible donations that assist them in providing their services to pets in need. Each member has their own fund and may request grants for special cases in their practice.

Foundation funds are intended for the following uses: funding for Good Samaritan cases, assisting pet owners in financial crisis, to care for police/fire and service animals, funding for pets harmed or displaced due to local disaster (such as weather, fire, etc.) There are two ways to donate to Veterinary Care Foundation members—

Donate to a Specific Veterinary Practice: Funds donated to support an individual veterinary practice are earmarked only for use by that practice. Donations to the Veterinary Care Foundation Good Samaritan Fund: Funds may be donated to support the Foundation's overall mission. Distribution of these funds will be determined by the Veterinary Care Foundation Advisory Board.
