“God is within her, she will not fall.” – Psalm 46:5

This verse has been close to my heart since the day I started trick riding. It’s the reminder I cling to every time things don’t go as planned, when I have a bad day, or feel like I’ve hit a wall. The road hasn’t always been easy—there were moments I wondered how I’d ever make it in this industry, how I’d get my name out there, or where the next opportunity would come from. But I always came back to that verse.

It’s not always easy to let go and give it to God, especially when I’m in a rush, trying to make everything perfect. But when I look back now—from the first time I ever saw trick riding, to my very first lesson, to being 16 years old sitting in the stands at the Polkville Rodeo telling everyone, “I’ll be performing here next year”—I see how His hand was in all of it. I didn’t even have a trick riding horse at the time, but I knew if I worked hard and trusted God, it would happen.

And it did.

Not only did I get to perform at Polkville last year, but again this year. Just a few months after speaking that dream, He opened the door for me to buy my dream horse from one of my best friends. He gave me the chance to work the rodeo—twice. He calmed my nerves when anxiety tried to creep in. He gave me the passion, the strength, and the work ethic to chase this dream I love so much.

Every day I get to live out the thing I used to only dream about. And I’m just so thankful. I pray I can glorify God in every ride, every performance, every lesson I teach, and every moment!

This is your reminder that when things aren't going as planned and you're feeling like it's not going to work out, remember to turn to God and give it to him! Looking back I realize that the setbacks I thought I would never get past have done nothing but push me harder and help me become who I am today! Anyways that's all! Just wanted to say thanks to God! Nothing I do is capable without him🙏🏻

Night 2 at Rodeo Polkville was a blast!! Thank you to all my family and friends for coming out and cheering me on!! Loved getting to ride for my hometown crowd! It's so much fun getting to trick ride at the place I first saw trick riding and my very first rodeo!

Tomorrow kicks off night 1 of rodeo Polkville!! Come out and see us!! Love getting to perform in front of my hometown crowd and would love to see all my family and friends there!!
