This week was rough. Every time I tried to stand was more challenging than the one before. The mass by my leg was getting bigger, and I cried a lot. I got lost in the dark and walked into stuff several times. It was really hard to breathe. I kept going to for love and help, and they always showered me with affection. We came up to see Paw-Paw on Wednesday night. Aunt Pam came over yesterday and loved on me some more. My foster family came over today and gave me lots of loving, too.

This afternoon, Dr. Laura Pearson from Caring Concepts came over to free me from my pain. At 2:06, I crossed the rainbow bridge with father and daddy holding my head and gently petting me until I was completely at peace.

I had a wonderful life and showed lots of love to everyone who got to know me. Daddy and father promised me that they'd never forget me and told me how much they loved me over and over and over. Please be kind to them and to Paw-Paw. They tried to tell me everything was ok, but I saw their eyes were leaking a lot. Thank you everyone who kept me over the years and was so nice to me. I look forward to more ear scratches and butt rubs when I see you on the other side.

took me on two walks today. We went back to the field at the former Methodist Children's Home because I love walking back there. When my legs gave out, Daddy let me rest for a little bit before coming home. Getting old isn't for the weak! Still, I'm glad I've been able to watch out for them for 15 years now. Now we just go at a little slower pace - unless I see a dog that I have to saw hello to.
