Introducing ✨Micro Muzzles✨ for the littlest Snoofs! Previously, we’ve not been able to accommodate for dogs under about 15lbs, because the smallest muzzles from our basket manufacturer were still much too large, even when we custom modified them. But we can now officially share that we are offering muzzles made ✨completely from scratch✨ for the littlest snoots! The muzzles in these pictures were made for a 5lb Min Pin and a 6lb Chihuahua!

Despite their small size, these muzzles take a TON of work, time and effort, because every single wire is bent and welded by hand to your little one’s exact measurements. This also means that they do cost more than “Small” custom muzzles, starting at $150, but if you ask me, that’s a major deal for something you won’t find anywhere else in the world! 🤯

Review! “We could not be happier with our BSDG muzzle! Ronnie is far more comfortable in this muzzle than the muzzle we were previously training with. She LOVES it! She can take treats, drink water, and overall be her silly crazy self without feeling restricted. As far as human opinions go, I love it just as much! I can see and read her facial expressions unlike other muzzles, which is very important for predicting her reactions. We also love how STUNNING this muzzle looks! It’s not “scary” or “intimidating”, and the customization options allowed me to match it with my girls personality. Big Snoofs team is SO GOOD at what they do and made sure to help us anyway they could. They were able to get the right measurements from Ronnie’s not so perfect pictures to ensure the most comfortable fit. I wanted to find a small business to support while also agreeing with their morals when it comes to something like muzzling. Big Snoof is perfect! Overall I highly recommend Big Snoof, and I will be a returning customer.”

My Daisy. This pretty little dog is the reason for all of this.🥹 Without her, Big Snoof wouldn’t exist! I remember back in 2021, when I was so overwhelmed and discouraged with her dog reactivity, when we starting having to use a muzzle (the Baskerville, pictured!) and she and I both just hated it. I mostly avoided using it, but knew it was important for keeping her safe. When I discovered that there were other options out there, it completely changed the game! But there was still something missing. I had no interest in an ugly, black and scary looking muzzle… so, inspired by seeing others DIY modifying their muzzles, and being the crafty sort of human I am, I took matters into my own hands, and loved it so much that I decided to ask the muzzle communities if they wanted me to do the same for their muzzles. Overwhelmingly the answer was yes! And Big Snoof came to life 💖 This has been an incredible journey, and it’s all because this little pup has some big scary feelings. Back in 2021, in the first year of her life, I could never have imagined that something so amazingly beautiful could come from Daisy’s reactivity. But now, in 2025, I am so incredibly grateful for her and the journey she’s taken me on 🥹💖

Feeling incredibly thankful to all of you who keep us going every day! 🥹💖 I know I say it all the time to everyone I can, but when I say “Thank you for supporting our small business”, I mean it so genuinely. We’re a very small team with a big project on our hands and hearts, and we couldn’t do it without you all. The orders, the reviews, the referrals, the likes and shares and tags on social media, all of it makes such a big difference to help us get better muzzles to more dogs around the world 💖 And to the wonderful group of muzzle friends I’ve made around the world who keep me sane everyday… Thank you endlessly. Really, the only thing your pup *can’t* do in their muzzle is use their teeth in questionable ways! 😅😂 The beauty of our muzzles is that they’re pretty much as close as it gets to not wearing a muzzle! With the right fit, your pup can drink, take treats, pant heavily, bark, and even roll around like a little chaos gremlin, and the muzzle won’t impede them or come off. They’re made to only touch them on the top of the snout and the sides of their cheeks, so they’re great for gear shy pups, too! Check out our link in bio to learn more!🥰🎉🐶

I’ve been reflecting on our impact here at Big Snoof, and I’m just so thankful for it all. We couldn’t do all we do without all of you, so thank YOU for your support! Reaching 10k followers on insta seems a bit silly, but is also a big step for us, and we’re so thankful to have all of you rooting for us. Our community is such a large part of what makes this job so rewarding, and we really look forward to helping more good dogs all over the world 🥹💖

How adorable is this sweet Mudi?! He’s looking fantastic in his new standard size 24 Big Snoof!🥹 I remember when standard size snoofs were just a dream I hoped to bring to reality… sometimes I think I need to pinch myself to realize how far we’ve come in just the last couple of years! I’m so thankful for every one of you who’ve supported our small business and helped it grow into something that can help dogs all around the world every day. It’s quite crazy what we make happen from our spare bedroom! 🤣🩵
