Dog training is so much fun. Starting out as a high school teacher many years ago I had the opportunity to begin my teaching career with teenagers. Now I have the opportunity to help owners and their dogs develop a lasting bond and respect for each other. My dog training journey started with a beautiful golden retriever who was a bit difficult to t

rain. After many challenges I became hooked on dog training as I explored methods to work with my dog. Since starting my own business in 2011 I have met so many wonderful dog owners and dogs of all breeds, ages and sizes. I am a professional member of the Association of Professional Dog Trainers, a certified dog trainer through the Council of Certified Professional Dog Trainers, a training partner with the Karen Pryor Dog Training and Behavior Academy. There is nothing better than seeing the light go on in the dog's head and smile on the owner's face!

Meet Theo and Kibou, new students in the Puppy Start Right class.

Congratulations to the new Love on a Leash trainees: Morgan Rudd and Olive, Andy Edwards and Maple, and Heidi Bolneo and Nova. Each of the teams passed the Love on a Leash Control Evaluation and then participated in role playing situations. We are so proud of their hard work. 🎉

Our Beyond Basics class had lots of fun working on skills and practicing games with ladders which help build confidence and mobility. Each of these pups did a great job. 🥇🐾
