There are 3 layers they are minky fleece with raised bumps on one side which is great for (Early Neurological Stimulation) with an absorbent cotton middle which pulls the moisture away from the puppies and a printed fleece on the other side all machine quilted together for a stable pad.
Machine wash and dry!

These are great to use transporting your newborn puppies to the vet or coming home from a Csection.
Also great when Mom is taking care of her own needs and you want to keep puppies safe and warm.
Another great use is when you are cleaning the whelping box.

Also great while your puppies are being whelped if you have a very active mom they are safe, warm and comfortable.

You can put a heating pad in the bottom of the basket either above or below the 3 layer pad depending on the amount of heat your pad gives off. The liner completely covers the cord so no worries about a puppy getting tangled in it.
The top has a mesh panel for viewing puppies.
The liner is made with printed fleece with coordinating minky dot on the bottom and wide strong elastic along the topto keep it in place in your basket.
The bottom separate pad is 3 layers thick with a cotton middle to wick moisture away from puppies it gives more comfort, padding and warmth for puppies. No need for disposable puppy pads underneath.
