We are excited to offer dog obedience, rally, and conformation classes at our location in Mora, MN. We also have TONS of other activities and other classes to offer. We have a combined experience of 24+ years of training, behavior shaping, and reactive dog mediation with a balanced approach to training. We use positive reinforcement while teaching good behavior!

Last week we were joined by Sue and Molly, Jess and Tonks, Becky and Maxine, Joan and Bruce, Laura and Gus, and Garret and Gatsby!

This week we were joined by Jess and Tonks, Sharon and Rudy, and Joan and Bruce for a little bit 😉.

Two Beginner Obedience classes, one big graduation celebration 🎓🐾

Congratulations to Pearl, Don and Otis, Mary and W***y, Sue and Molly, and Kalley and Ozzy!

These groups brought a great mix of personalities, goals, and challenges to class, and it was fun watching each team grow over the course of the program. Beginner Obedience is where dogs and handlers really start learning how to work together—not just in class, but in everyday life.

From leash manners and engagement to impulse control and learning how to focus around distractions, these teams put in a lot of consistent work. And while progress doesn’t always happen in a straight line, every team here kept showing up and building on the foundation week after week.

That’s what creates lasting results.

We’re proud of the work these teams put in and excited to see where their training journeys go next. Keep practicing, keep communicating, and keep having fun with your dogs along the way 👏

Puppy Kindergarten is hands-down our FAVORITE class to teach. 😂🐾

There’s just something hilarious and heartwarming about watching a bunch of baby puppies figure out the world together — climbing on strange objects, investigating new surfaces, waddling through tunnels, and building confidence one tiny adventure at a time. Every class is chaos, comedy, and learning all rolled into one.

This week’s puppies got to explore our stimulus environment during Week 5, and they absolutely crushed it! Experiences like this help puppies learn how to think through new situations, recover from surprises, and grow into confident adult dogs.

Our Tuesday Beginner Obedience class originally scheduled to begin May 19th at 5:00 p.m. has been postponed and will now begin on Tuesday, June 2nd at 5:00 p.m.

We appreciate everyone’s flexibility and patience with the schedule change!

The good news? This gives anyone who has been thinking about joining a little extra time to get signed up. 👀

Beginner Obedience is one of our favorite classes because it focuses on building practical life skills, clearer communication, confidence, and a stronger relationship between dogs and their people. Whether you have a young dog getting started or an older dog needing some structure and consistency, this class is a fantastic foundation.

We are excited to get this group started in June and cannot wait to work with everyone!

READY TO TAKE YOUR RALLY SKILLS TO THE NEXT LEVEL? 🐾

Our Intermediate/Advanced Rally class meets Wednesdays from 6:00–7:00 p.m. and is designed for teams looking to continue growing their precision, communication, and confidence in the sport.

This class is all about fine-tuning the details:
✨ Cleaner handling
✨ Stronger engagement
✨ More polished performance
✨ Improved teamwork and flow through courses
✨ Building consistency around distractions

One of the things I love most about Rally is that there is always something to improve on. It keeps both dogs and handlers thinking, learning, and growing together. Whether you are actively competing, preparing to trial, or simply love having something challenging and rewarding to work on with your dog, this class gives you the opportunity to keep building those skills in a supportive environment.

We work through more advanced signs, sequencing, course work, and problem-solving while still focusing on creating dogs that are thoughtful, engaged, and enjoyable to work with both in and out of the ring.

If you’re looking for a place to practice, challenge yourself, and continue developing as a team, we’d love to have you join us.

BEGINNER OBEDIENCE STARTS MAY 28TH! 🐾

One of my favorite things is watching dogs and owners start to really understand each other. That moment when things start clicking, communication gets clearer, and training becomes something both ends of the leash genuinely enjoy — that’s what this class is all about.

Our next Beginner Obedience class starts Thursday, May 28th at 5:00 p.m.

This class is great for adolescent dogs, newly adopted dogs, or really any dog that needs help building better life skills and foundations. We focus on practical obedience that actually matters in day-to-day life while also building confidence, engagement, and relationship.

We’ll be working on things like:

🐶 Loose leash walking

PUPPY KINDERGARTEN IS BACK! 🐾✨

There is truly nothing better than puppy kindergarten classes. The tiny leashes, the wiggly excitement, the baby dog chaos, the growing confidence — we absolutely LOVE this stage of training.

Our next Puppy Kindergarten session begins Thursday, June 4th at 6:00 p.m. and is designed specifically for young puppies during one of the most important learning periods of their lives.

In Puppy Kindergarten, we focus on building:

🐶 Engagement with owners
🐶 Positive social experiences
🐶 Foundational obedience skills
🐶 Appropriate play and interactions
🐶 Calmness and focus around distractions

Puppy Kindergarten might just be my favorite class we offer—and this group is exactly why 🎓🐾

Huge congratulations to Elizabeth and Beau, Cami and Bounce, and the Brockners and Oliver!

These classes are full of wiggly bodies, sharp little puppy brains, and a whole lot of personality—and somehow in the middle of all that chaos, some really important learning happens. This group worked on everything from touch and recall to crate games and early impulse control, all while learning how to navigate the world together.

But more than anything, they leaned into the fun of it—and that matters. Puppy Kindergarten should be enjoyable. It should feel like play, connection, and discovery… because that’s what builds dogs who want to learn.

These classes really are the best—and this group made them even better.

Keep playing, keep practicing, and keep building on what you’ve started here.
