A few years back, I was having problems with rats getting into my kitchen from outside. I imprinted Nika, my maligator on their smell and she would help find them, catch them and take them back outside. My girlfriend is raising an injured baby opossum who happened to escape from her enclosure during the night a few days ago and was hiding somewhere inside her house. I took Nika over there today to search for it and she found it hiding in a vase! She’s such a good girl!

We have another maligator who is looking for her “forever” home! Her name is Cadence, she is about 4 1/2 months old, she is spayed and current on all vaccines. She is pretty mellow for a Malinois, she is going to be on the small dude, her food drive is good, she loves to play with other dogs, she is crate trained and we are working on some basic obedience. The boy has arrived! Pulled from Carson shelter on his exit date, otherwise he would have been euthanized. Thank you Doug and Melody for transporting this boy to me and Thank you Rescue League for pulling him. I'm going to take some time to get to know him and then eventually he will be available for adoption! He a young one, about 13 months old.

Took Miss Bella home tonight from Board & Train, she did so good and I’m really going to miss her!

I hope this guy stays in jail, what a horrible thing to do to his dog. I can't believe he actually had the nerve to go to the shelter to bring the dog back home with him.
