My sweet Ms. Claudia, who had a lot of issues, is now fully healed. She crossed the rainbow bridge yesterday after I made the VERY hard decision that she was ready. 🌈🥹 She was tired and done fighting. She wouldn’t eat, drink, and barely got up. She was no longer her bossy and demanding self. She lost her s***k. If you have ever had to make that decision then you know that feeling you get when it just feels like it is time. Yesterday I had that after I returned from running an errand. She didn’t meet me at the door which she hadn’t been. I went to check on her and I just knew. Most recently she had been battling with her usual skin issues which never caused her to be so down. So I think she was just old and exhausted. Ms. Claudia was the very first sanctuary dog and to be trusted to care for her was such a honor. She holds a VERY special place in my heart. 🩷She definitely kept me busy barking orders at me (literally), her meds, creams, and all the things in between. I got to love her for two years. I am very devastated but happy she is running free. We’ve been low on funds. Just like everyone. Ms. Claudia’s peace was $113. We would really, really appreciate anyone who could help offset the cost. Picture of receipt is last photos. We know we are gonna have to buy the pups food soon enough!
