Senior living and feral fixing!

This week the Witty Kitty team will set out to trap-neuter-return at 2 senior living centers, plus three other locations.

With both Senior Living locations off of SW 59th Street in Oklahoma City, these fur-babies certainly need our help!

The kind, caring souls at the senior living center feed the kitties, now it’s our turn to fix them and help control the overpopulation issue that Oklahoma faces.

This also helps these caring seniors to be able to afford feeding the cats; by limiting the reproduction, we limit the amount of hungry bellies to feed.

The TRAP-A-THON was a huge success! We got exactly 32 cats in for surgery, from six sites. No more babies from these guys! We met our goal of trapping our 300th cat for the year, but adding the six earlier in the week we are now at 306!

We had two teams trapping at different sites when we hit cat #299… The anticipation was fun seeing who was gonna get that bragging right… Then there it was, cat #300 triggered master trapper Tania’s trap! 😂🐈‍⬛ Tania gets the imaginary trophy 🏆 IDK, maybe we’ll throw her a Witty Kitty t-shirt 😂

To the clinics- thank you for making this happen! You are making such a life changing difference for these street cats, and the overpopulation problem. We absolutely could not do this without you- you’re amazing!
