Still feels surreal. We’d be at NBHA Worlds right now if it wasn’t for that driver.. a day before we leave.. I’ve never been so angry. May this be a reminder to WATCH when you’re driving, especially around livestock/horse trailers. That distance infront of us is NOT an invitation. We need that to brake and safety maneuver if something goes wrong. I’m beyond lucky he did not kill her as the impact was directly where she was tied and brutally threw her against the trailer wall. I hope karma comes for him… he fractured her leg, damaged her whole back, & my spine. We both will forever be traumatized by this.

Anyone who knows me well knows I’ve made a habit of waving to the large crowds running home from third at every possible rodeo.

I started doing it because little me is somewhere in that crowd. Somewhere out in that sea of people is a little girl who sees exactly where she wants to be. And when I wave, I hope she sees me recognizing her.

Someone’s daughter. Someone with a dream. Someone who feels seen, driven, and excited about where life could take her.

That’s why it’s my favorite habit. Because I know what it feels like to be that little girl in the crowd.

And if little me could see us now… I think she’d be pretty damn proud. ❤️

Little Friday Night under the lights!

Took a trip down to Lee County Posse arena for some practice. Absolutely amazing people! Phenomenal ground! & an all around good time with my redheaded buddy ❤️ ..didn’t get back to Saint Cloud till 2AM, but it was worth the adventure!

Thank you for being a part of my life and for literally years of cheering me on. You and Tami are two of the HUGE reasons I kept showing up, why I never quit, and why I kept my head up when things got hard.

The community just won’t be the same without you, and it certainly won’t be normal not hearing those “run, run, run” at every race. 💔

We all miss you so much already. Thank you for believing in me, cheering me on, and being such a special part of my journey.
