Bake shop update! 📣

We’ll be closed for the first few weeks of the year to review 2023, plan for 2024 and restock our empty post-holiday shelves! But don’t worry, we’ll be open one day for you to get your doggos what they need to get through the break - this Saturday, January 6th during our usual hours of 10-4. We’ll reopen Thursday, January 18th bright eyed and waggy tailed after a little new year glow-up! 💫

Thanks for supporting our tiny team’s time to renew and rebuild and come back ready for big things in 2024! 🩵

Our little elf would like to remind you that even though the holiday shipping frenzy is over, there’s still time to take part in our annual initiative! We’re donating $1 for every bag sold on our website during the month of December to our local animal rescue Central Vermont Humane Society, and by our calculations that gives you until midnight on New Year’s Eve to scoop up some treats. Many thanks for supporting our little biz and in turn supporting animal rescue! 🐶❤️

Friendly reminder to place your orders by the end of the day on the 21st if you’d like some treats in the stocking or under the tree by the weekend! And remember, every order will count towards our Paw It Forward program, where we donate $1 to Central Vermont Humane Society for every bag of treats purchased on the website in December. ❤️⛄️🎄

On this , we’re bringing back our annual program! Every year, we donate $1 per bag sold on our website during the holiday season to a local animal welfare group. This year, we’ll be supporting Central Vermont Humane Society, which shelters and adopts domestic dogs, cats, and small animals such as rabbits and guinea pigs.

In addition, CVHS offers dog training classes, community clinics for low-cost rabies vaccinations and microchips, and education to animal guardians. CVHS also works to prevent and address animal cruelty and neglect, and supports legislative efforts to protect animals in Vermont.

By bringing some happiness to your pups with our treats this holiday season you’ll also be spreading some love to local dogs in need as well. Thank you for continuing to support us in our mission of giving back to those who care for our communities and animals. ❤️🤍❤️

Quick announcement from our resident hot dog 🌭 and taco 🌮 about all the local Halloween happenings coming up for the pups in the week ahead! 👻🐶

🎃 On Halloween we'll be open late at our Montpelier bake shop for this year's Halloween Parade and Jamboree hosted by Montpelier Alive! Trick or treating from 4-5pm, costume parade from 5-5:30pm (furry friends included!) and Thriller dance from 5:30-7pm. Stop into our bake shop for some treats for the humans AND the pups!

🎃 On Saturday, 10/28 Burlington Farmers Market will be hosting their first ever doggie costume contest at the market! Humane Society of Chittenden County will be judging and there will be prizes galore from several generous market vendors (including yours truly!) Stop by our booth for a pic and a special treat before you head to the Humane Society's tent during market hours to register your dog and have their photo taken!

🎃 The Church Street Marketplace will be hosting its second annual Howl'ween Dog Costume Contest 🦴🦇 ⁠ again this year on Saturday, October 28th, from 11:30 am - 1:30 pm. They'll have MUSIC, they'll have TREATS, they'll have PRIZES (including our treats!), and SO. MANY. DOGS 😍

It’s happening!!! 💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻

We are THRILLED to share that we will be reopening our small but mighty bake shop this Saturday, September 23rd (and may even do a surprise pop-up on Friday…🤫)!

We have spent the past two months cleaning, demolishing, repairing, sanding, painting and patching. And now we’re finally ready to welcome all the people and all the pooches back to our Montpelier storefront with open arms and lots of yummy treats.

Thanks to all for the support, generosity, kindness and love you’ve shown us as we’ve rebuilt and recovered. We couldn’t have done this without you 🩵🩵🩵

The best cleaning crew around helping make our blue door bright again today 🩵

We’re hard at work getting our space back to good, and hope to reopen soon. We’ll be cranking away this weekend to get our office and packaging areas cleaned up and functioning again, and next on the list will be our retail space.
