At Four Paws Inn, daily walks and outdoor play are part of your pet's stay here with us. We have outside runs and a large outdoor fenced in play area and comfortable beds for every dog. Your dogs have been waiting for you at home all day and they are full of pent up energy and you’re tired after a long day at work. e start of our doggy daycare. A bored dog is one just waiting to develop bad behaviors. Even just one day a week spent as part of an active pack, contributes to their health and of course, the time you spend together. Their day will be filled with group dog playtime, one on one walks and of course a little quiet time too. We have a large fenced in area, and clean cushion-floored rest areas while they are inside. There’s a day for small dogs and a day for the big dogs too so far. We’re family owned and operated and located just four miles out of downtown Montpelier, off rt 2. We have larger kennels to accommodate dogs from the same family as well as smaller ones for your pups on the tinier side of things! We're happy to work with dogs that prefer human company over other dog's company and will spend time with them separately.

Hot dog, hot dog, hot diggity dog!
Nothing but Paws-itivity today here at daycare.
While it may have been a hot day, we kept the pups cool. We had the pools out, plenty of shade and we made sure to take breaks inside.

Our dear friend Fiona treated us with pup cups, so that made everything that much better!

Happy happy Monday everyone! We hope everyone was able to stay cool today. We made sure our fuzzy friends had plenty of pool and shade time while they were playing today. While they were all inside cooling off, we made them all pup cups to help them cool off a little more, and made sure they were well rested before going back out to play! Their safety and happiness is our main priority here.

☀️ Summer begins today — and a major heat wave is right behind it. ⚠️

From overheating and sunburn to dehydration and heatstroke, extreme temperatures can be life-threatening for both dogs and cats.

This quick guide shares simple steps to help keep your dog safe in the summer heat. While it's especially important for brachycephalic breeds, dogs with dark coats, and those with underlying health conditions, high temperatures pose a risk to all dogs.

The safest place for your pet during extreme heat is indoors, ideally with air conditioning.

Attention Daycare dogs!! Looks like we are in for a heatwave this week. I just wanted everyone to know that if you don’t feel comfortable bringing your dog because of the extreme heat, you will not be charged.
Those with brachycephalic breeds (pugs, frenchies, KC spaniels, etc.) or elderly dogs who are more susceptible to the heat, please take great care in the amount of time they spend outdoors this week.
For those that do come, we will have them outside as long as we safely can. We will provide access to shade and pools while outside and, as always, everyone will be closely monitored and we will bring them in if we feel they’re uncomfortable or it gets too hot.

Happy FriYAY!
We had a great time at daycare today with all of our fluffy friends. We still played despite the gloominess this morning, and we were blessed with a gorgeous afternoon.

We hope to see you at the Jordan's Way event with Potters Angels! If you can't come in person, we will be streaming live! So definitely check us out, and help us raise money for these great rescue dogs that 100% deserve it.
