This is our last hatch for about 6 weeks. I am going to have withdrawals!

I am feeling extremely overwhelmed by life right now. It’s all just life stuff, but there are several things taking up space in my brain. I took a break from chicken chores to mindlessly scroll, when I came across a post from Kentucky Sunrise Silkies.

One of her young daughter’s friends tragically lost her mother and brother in a car accident. The little girl was in the car as well, but thank God she made it. Life is so precious, and we’re not promised tomorrow. 💔

I feel ridiculous for feeling overwhelmed by inconsequential, unnecessary issues that are not actually that big of a deal - in the grand scheme of things. Reading their post made me stop and consider what is important to me, and how I should focus on the good. Good things can be found everywhere, if you’re focused on the right thing.

I don’t know the family involved in the accident, but I will be lifting them up in prayer. I hope you will join me.
