Some of the process of a black bear. Didnā€™t get picture of the raw skin prior to salting. First picture is the skin after it has been salted, rehydrated, and in the pickle for about a month. Second and third picture is after it has been shaved and primary degreasing bath. We didnā€™t get a picture of the skin after it was tanned and oiled but last two pictures are the bear mounted and finished. There was no washing after it was mounted. 496lb bear
