I will be inputting my client information into a new app to make scheduling and paying easier for my clients .
Please text me your email address. The app is very familiar to many of you , it is the “Time to Pet” app.
I will send you the link once I have your email address.
If you are technology challenged , it’s ok, I can walk you through it if needed.

Please be aware of the mushrooms in your yard. I just heard a story about a 1 year old dog that died from eating a toxic mushroom from his yard.
I cannot identify mushrooms so take pics of the underside of mushrooms to google them.
We are scanning our play yard at RDC before playing also .

As I continue my week of learning and growing as a pet care giver/business owner, I am going to give myself credit for my earlier days in creating my business plan .
In my very first flyer I seemed to have recognized the need for “enrichment” in regards to caring for dogs.
This week I am learning, that “enrichment “ surpasses all other activities we do at camp. Walks are good, play is good, rest is good. Enrichment makes the difference between having a content , relaxed , and personable dog and having a destructive , miserable un attached dog.
I have so much more to learn and I hope I can pass along this knowledge to my moms and dads in a way that will guide us as a team to give your dog its best life!

Today I attended a seminar called “code red”
This is referring to the high energy dogs that enjoy entertaining themselves at the expense of others. Out or the 40 or so attendees , the common theme was the chocolate lab and their ability to disrupt activities and enrichment projects.
Since I only have 1 chocolate lab who is absolutely perfect , I am not sure if I’m getting my moneys worth here. 🤔😉

1 day with the pet biz wiz Dom Hodgson and I am already seeing what potential RDC has .
The ideas and challenges he has taught in just one day has my brain exploding with new ideas.
I am taking notes and adding to my focus board as I write this!
I had a vision of creating an environment where dogs can tap into their individual instincts to fill their lives with adventure and contentment. I feel I have fulfilled that vision over the last 2 years.
I now have a greater vision of expanding the depths of that mission.
I have lacked in organization , both admin and daily schedules. With this weak link I have robbed my clients of so much .
I sometimes feel
I have taken on too much. I am excited to attend the seminars over the next few days to correct and grow.
Thank you Cassy for running the show in my absence.
And remember my # 1 rule!!!!
If a tornado comes through , grab Rosie and run to the basement!!!!
😁

📣 Public Service Announcement!

Fulton County Animal Center and surrounding county shelters do not handle wildlife!!

Please refer to the Indiana DNR Permitted Rehabilitation List for those who are licensed to do so. Although the list may not have someone in your immediate county area, find the next nearest county to where you live on the list. Reach out to the closest match you can find on the list for what you are needing help with!
