What Is Class IV Laser Therapy?
Think of Class IV laser therapy as giving your dog’s cells a boost of energy.
When a dog is injured, has arthritis, sore muscles, nerve pain, or a wound, the body’s cells have to work harder to repair the damage. Sometimes those cells become overwhelmed and healing slows down. Laser therapy delivers concentrated light energy that helps those cells produce more energy (ATP), allowing them to repair tissue more efficiently.

Isn’t This Just Red Light Therapy?
No.
This is one of the biggest misconceptions.
The red-light devices you can buy online or use at home are generally low-level light therapy (LLLT). While they may provide some benefit for minor aches or skin health, they deliver much less energy than a veterinary Class IV laser.
