Can you see what’s wrong in this picture? Not much, just one thing. Happy dog, happy woman….what could it be? Neither the dog nor the woman seem to know either. They both seem to have the same awareness of the problem. Non. Imagine if after a little bit of training for the woman and the dog, how much more enjoyable this walk would be. The poor pup has no idea that being pulled backwards on a walk isn’t normal. The woman probably thinks walking a dog feels this way and always has. Imagine the surprise and wonder when for the first time after a little training the pup was walking with the woman without constant pressure. Plus the woman would no longer have a sore shoulder after walking her dog. Life’s too short. They both could enjoy the walk with a little help. That’s what I do.

Why do people always wait so long to call a trainer? Months maybe years of “putting up” with nonsense from your dog that really just doesn’t know any better. The barking the jumping the pulling, I mean why wait and hope it goes away? It’s not going to until your dog is old and groggy. All those missed years of potential happiness and enjoyment. It baffles me why people wait to call me.

Should you hire a dog trainer? Do you need help with your dog or do you just think dog training for your dog is just a good idea. Are you a busy per or family without any extra time left in the day running to kids games and practice, going to work, out of town a lot, gone all day. Do you really have time for training or even have time or space in your life for another responsibility?
