Help Wanted – Taxidermy Shop Assistant

Job duties may include (but are not limited to):
• Fleshing hides
• Sanding and prepping forms
• Cleaning antlers
• Finishing and detail work on completed taxidermy pieces

This position does not involve mounting animals, but focuses on the many preparation and finishing tasks that help keep the workflow moving for the taxidermist.

Details:
• Flexible hours
• Weekday business hours preferred
• Pay depends on experience and work ethic
• Some work may be hourly, and some per-job pay

No experience required, but general knowledge or interest in the taxidermy industry is definitely helpful.

Our freezers are topped out. We are no longer able to take on anymore deer for shoulder mounts at this time. We will accept them at a later date. If you want me to mount your deer for you, give me a call and I can put your name on the waiting list. Just keep them in your freezer until I free up some space.
We are accepting all European mounts.
