Ben found his forever home with Ben!😂

Ben and his 6 siblings were born to a mama in a colony in Pell City. The babies were captured, brought inside, tamed, vetted, and loved, before they moved on to another one of our fosters. And now Ben has a family of his very own.

Your outside cat died today. No, not of natural causes.

Nobody was there to hold her while she crossed over. Nobody was there to protect her so this wouldn’t happen. Nobody even cared enough to move her body.

I did. I didn’t know this cat. I didn’t get to enjoy her while she was alive. I don’t know if she ever experienced love or a warm bed. Pets, cuddles, yummy food.

All I can do is make sure she is laid to rest with dignity and she won’t be forgotten.

If you think your cat can’t live without going outside, please think again.

❓❓❓GUESS WHO FOUND HER FOREVER HOME TONIGHT❓❓❓

🎶 SWEET CAROLINE… BA BA BAAAA! 🎶
Good times never seemed so good! 🥹

Caroline and her four siblings had an unusual start. After being found as strays, a kind elderly woman kept them safe in her bathroom for nearly two months before they entered the Country Cattery foster care system.

With very little human interaction early on, they were scared and unsure of people. Once they came to us, my child welcomed all five into his room and spent countless hours teaching them that people could be safe, hands could be gentle, and LOVE could be pretty amazing. 💜🐾

And tonight, our Sweet Caroline is headed HOME with her forever family!

🎶 Hands… touchin’ paws… reachin’ out… 🎶

Sweet Caroline, your best verse is just beginning. We wish you a lifetime of warm beds, treats, cuddles, and all the love you deserve.
