Here’s a behind-the-scenes look at a couple whitetails and a cow head in our beetle enclosure. Dermestid beetles are one of the most effective and precise ways to clean skulls — they carefully remove tissue while preserving the fine detail of the bone.
It’s not glamorous, but it’s part of the process that ensures a clean, quality European mount.

Hi everyone! We’re Dustin and Paige, and we’re excited to officially introduce our family’s European mount business-Woodland Skull Company.
Hunting has always been a big part of our life. Dustin has been an avid hunter and trapper for years and truly enjoys the entire process — from the harvest to preserving and honoring the animal. He has always taken pride in turning hides into something beautiful for the wall, and now he’s bringing that same passion and attention to detail into European mounts.
What started as doing our own mounts has quickly turned into something we’re excited to offer to others.
We’ll be doing:
• Big game
• Predators
• Livestock
• And more
Our two boys (almost 5 and 7) are already “hunting crazy” like their dad and are excited to help where they can — learning the value of hard work and taking pride in the process right alongside him.
We are officially up and running and can accept animals anytime. While we know fall will be our busiest season once hunting kicks off, we’re ready now!
