Another new event for Monte Vista's 2024 Cinco de Mayo Street Festival this year is the Canine Costume Contest. Hosted by Muddy Paws Doggie Wash this unique and fun filled event will take place at 11AM in front of their business on Adams St. Prizes will be given out for three weight categories. Entry forms and registration information is available here: https://optimystics.org/cinco-de-mayo-2024/. You can also pick up a form at Muddy Paws Doggie Wash. Proceeds from the contest will benefit the Monte Vista Community Ambulance Service. So get your dog dressed up for Cinco de Mayo and join all the fun on Saturday, May 4th.
