Buckets! We go through 'em fast at the Refuge! Cold weather does them in quickly, too! They're used to carry water, food and anything that needs a bucket to get it from there to here.

Lowes has 5 gallon buckets for just under $5.00! Any brand will do, they don't have to be expensive. Can you help us get a bunch of them? You can either:

Drop them at Re-Tail Thrift store, 3503 Lafayette Blvd., Fredericksburg - during open hours only, please; Tues through Saturday, 9am to 5pm.

Bring them on donation drop off day; last Saturday of each month from 12pm to 2pm and also on Christmas day, same hours. Stay and listen to Santa Stories; what Santa does as he flies around the world and hear from Mrs. Claus, too! Visit with the animals and enjoy cookies, cider and tangerines (while they last.)
