The Pastel Twister Pied has crawled out! Can't wait to see it post-shed. This is the only survivor of the clutch. There was a clear incubation issue that occurred since every snake had a severity of shark mouth. Thankfully, the visual had the least severity deformity, so I'm very hopeful 🤞

Our Story

I'm a native born Georgian living in big ole' Texas surrounded by cowboys, Mexican food, and some beautiful countryside!

I joined the reptile hobby at the end of September 2019. Before then I had no interest in snakes at all, and never thought I would own one - let alone over ten! I must be nuts.

I bought my first ball python, a male banana het pied (Penny), at NARBC Arlington in 2019 from Mike Wilbanks. I always get asked "What made you want to buy a ball python?" and the answer is really simple and a bit stupid. I was afraid of them. Not particularly ball pythons, but snakes in general. I didn't understand why I was afraid, and so I convinced myself the only way to get over that fear was to own one. So, now I own twelve.

Besides breeding ball pythons I am an avid acrylic pour painter, and was featured in VoyageDallas. My artist style comes from my grandmother, Betsy Collier, who was a professional painter and has a wall dedicated to her at the Arlington Art Museum. I also teach acrylic pour classes at local craft stores at least once a quarter. I've started to offer custom wooden snake decor pieces in 14" and 16" through my AK Morphs Instagram account. You can view on one of my story highlights of all the customized creations I have created and sold. I love making one of a kind pieces so please never hesitate to reach out to me to create one!
