* Rescue Search *

Today, we rescued a heartwarming family of Momma and her 9 precious puppies from a mobile home park in Monroeville. These innocent pups were trapped in a home without electricity, while their loving mom waited anxiously outside, desperate to be reunited with her babies.

The puppies were scattered throughout the trailer—some in the bedroom, others in the kitchen, living room, and even hiding under the couch. Two of the puppies are dehydrated, and we quickly reached out to Johnnie for some much-needed help. With a little special bottle feeding and some nourishing Johnnie juice, we’re doing our best to ensure they start on the path to recovery.

As many of you know, our shelter is not equipped to care for such tiny puppies, and despite our best efforts, they often struggle to survive here. That’s why we urgently need your support. We are actively searching for a rescue that can provide the nurturing environment this little family deserves. Momma is in good shape at 41 pounds, and her puppies are around just 2 weeks old.

Let’s come together to give them the chance at a loving future. If you can help, or know someone who can, please reach out. Together, we can make a difference for Momma and her adorable pups!

**Join Us in Transforming Lives: Help Taco and His Friends!**

Taco might still carry the spirit of a street cat, or perhaps he sleeps with one eye open after his post-neutering. But one thing is clear: this loving boy is ready to find his forever home!

As one of the most affectionate males from our largest feral colony at Monroeville's Piggly Wiggly, Taco has truly captured our hearts. If you've visited the store, you've likely noticed a remarkable change in the colony. We’ve successfully trapped, spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and treated over 100 cats! While we keep the friendly ones and the kittens, the rest are lovingly returned to their colony. After years of dedicated work, we’re thrilled to see the colony becoming healthier and more stable.

We’re incredibly grateful to Piggly Wiggly Manager Matt Helms, volunteer/trapper Sarah Dyess, and the local feeders who have been instrumental in this success. However, the work doesn't stop here—this colony remains an ongoing trap zone due to the high population in the area.

Here’s where you come in: **TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) programs are vital for all communities!** Our shelter sends approximately 35 feral cats each month for spay/neuter procedures, yet we receive no reimbursement from the towns where we operate. We need your support to continue this crucial work!

Would you consider sponsoring a feral cat or even a shelter dog in need? Your generosity can make a world of difference. Contact us today or make a donation through PayPal, Venmo, or by check with the memo "Spay/Neuter." Together, we can create a brighter future for our furry friends!
