Our farm sanctuary provides Goat Happy Hour Experiences to hundreds of people each year. Our lovable goats, pigs, dogs and chickens are a much needed happy distraction in a world filled with so much stress and uncertainty. We are focused on giving these animals the best life.

Everyday, Levi takes his post at the gate, the “worst invention in goat history”! 👎

He lets out his soft, heart-melting bleats, staring longingly into the distance like a goat in a soap opera.

He’s not waiting for snacks. He’s not waiting for dinner. He’s waiting for his favorite human in the whole world… Dad (aka Sean). 💔🐐

Levi dreams of the day that cruel, heartless gate disappears forever and he can finally trot freely into Sean’s arms without barriers, boundaries, or barnyard rules. ⛓️‍💥

Until then, he’ll keep bleating his love song into the wind.

Boone’s been hard at work perfecting his big and strong mountain goat moves!

But just as he’s in the zone, Dad shows up with “helpful encouragement” (aka distractions), and… down goes Boone. 😂

No worries though…this determined little athlete pops right back up, shakes it off, and climbs again. Because giving up? Not in Boone’s vocabulary! 🙌🏻🪾

When your best friend is a goat, you quickly realize you’ve set the bar *way too high* for human friendships. 😂

Levi doesn’t ghost him, he just bleats until he shows up. He never judges life choices (unless he forget snacks), and he’s always down for spontaneous adventures… or naps in the sun.

Sure, does he occasionally lick a salty head or want to play head butt games? That’s just his love language. ❤️

Some people have brunch buddies. We have a 3-year-old Boer goat who thinks he’s a golden retriever and lap goat!

Every great hero has an arch nemesis. Batman has the Joker. Superman has Lex Luthor. And Levi? Levi has… the gate.😤

That stubborn, clanging, metal monster stands between him and his dad and the forbidden paradise known as the flower farm. 💐

Every day, Levi stares it down, plotting his next move. Every latch click is a taunt. Every creak is a challenge. ⛓️‍💥

He’s tried everything:
The “ram and run” technique (effective, but noisy).🐐

The “sad eyes” strategy (works on mom, not the gate).👀

The “wait until someone forgets to latch it” plan (his most successful mission yet).🤣true story!

But the gate remains undefeated… for now.

Sean was sitting at “Goat Henge,” giving Boone and Cinder some quality attention, you know, deep philosophical talks about snacks and naps. Everything was peaceful… until Levi strutted up like he was about to take over the whole situation.

We braced for drama! 😬

But instead of asserting dominance, Levi leaned in, gave Sean a quick lick on the head (a royal blessing, perhaps?), and then casually wandered off to focus on the real priority: leftover hay on the boulder. 🫡🥰
