A few ready this week. Working hard to get 2024 done but gonna be a while. We will be ready for our clients that want to bring deer next week.

With season only about a month away I realize I have some hard decisions to make concerning the upcoming season. We have been in the taxidermy business now for 35 years and have many loyal clients that have used us for many years. With that in mind we have decided it is in our clients as well as ourselves best interest not to take on new clients this year. We still have a lot of mounts to get out from the 2024 season and we do not want to get so far out that it take an extender time to get mounts back to our customers not to mention the fact we are not as young as we used to be. If a clients immediate family member harvest a deer that we have not mounted for before we will still take those deer as long as we are receiving mounts. This has been a hard decision to make since I have always looked forward to meeting new clients but this is just necessary to keep our workload manageable and loyal clients work back in a reasonable time. We also will have an price increase of 6% just to keep up with rising cost of supplies. That will make a standard whitetail shoulder mount 875.00. We know we are not cheap but we do feel like we give every client their moneys worth with the best mount possibly within our ability. Good afternoon, hope everyone is having a great season! Temperatures are finally cooler and deer are getting more active in our area. Back in September I made a post that we would be glad to go to South Carolina to cape out our customers deer that were killed in South Carolina. We have got a few call recently from people wanting us to cape their deer only to find they were left in processors cooler for 2 weeks at which time the capes are no good. Some of these calls were from people that thought their deer was being picked up by other taxidermist and when they weren't they called us. Please regardless where you take your deer do not leave them in processors coolers assuming they are picked up. This is a problem for the processors as well as your cape being no good.

Last four from 2023 season ready to leave with exception to 1 brought very late (july) and 4 for family building a house and doesn't want them til house is finished. Just in time for muzzleloader season! We have had a very busy bow season but hope to see many of you soon!
