Please pray for our barn family as we are hurting. We have unexpectedly lost two of the GOAT lesson horses in two days!

This one hurts ALOT! Skippin and Zippin AKA Beamer was a barn favorite, and taught everyone who rode her something! She was a babysitter for the littles, but could be a challenge with all her fun buttons for the adults! 💔

Another horse we can truly never replace. We want to thank Courtney J for sharing her special girl with us for all of these years! 💕

Today has been a hard day around the barn. We lost a good one today and had to say goodbye to our lesson horse Tec as he crossed the rainbow bridge! He truly will be a hard one to replace as he has been loved by many children and adults!💔🐴

As we head into the weekend please keep in mind of those with livestock! We love the beautiful firework shows all around the barn but we love our animals just a little bit more! Help us keep them safe!

Did you know in Ohio, it is illegal to discharge consumer fireworks within 150 feet of property housing livestock, unless the livestock owner is given at least 5 days' written notice.
The distance is measured from the discharge point to the nearest property line where the animals are kept.
Ohio’s consumer-grade fireworks laws are clearly structured to protect farm animals and their owners:

The 150-Foot Rule
The Distance:
You cannot discharge any 1.4G consumer fireworks within 150 feet of any property housing livestock.

The Exception:
You can discharge fireworks inside this 150-foot zone only if you provide the livestock owner with 5 days of advance written notice. This notice must outline the specific date, time, and location of the planned display.

Liability:
The person setting off the fireworks is still responsible for any property damage or harm caused to the animals, regardless of whether notice was provided.

With all this said, please be mindful and courteous to neighbors with livestock and give us the proper notice so we can ensure our animals are safe this 4th of July.

Does any of our horse loving friends need a weekend job or a couple hours during the week? 😊
We're hiring!
Friday Stall cleaning plus Weekend PM shift available which is 7 to 1 or 12to 6. Roughly 10 stalls, feeding, turnout, plus other barn chores.

Must have horse experience.
Needs be the age of 18 or over
MSUT have reliable transportation.
Join our team and experience our family fun environment with well behaved horses and a close knit staff.

We strive to provide a good environment for all horses AND people. ❤️

This job consists of feeding, turn out, watering buckets and feilds, barn chores, stall cleaning. Barn chores typically consist of cleaning, tidying, restocking and trash.
Please be mindful that no horse job is going to be easy 🤍

We love our Mr. Skittles, but boy oh boy can he be the definition of a naughty pony!🤪🐴

Mr Skittles is a glutton and had to wear the daisy rein so he could work without eating. I don't think he was a fan of having to trot through such a tasty pasture without being able to pull the reins out of his rider's hands.
