I don’t even know where to begin… 13 years ago, Savannah & I picked up the most perfect black lab puppy from Chris Akin in Jonesboro, Arkansas and the journey has been incredible. Blue was a full time working dog for the majority of his life - he was able to flush/retrieve thousands of quail and pheasant for clients from all over the world, shared the duck blind with me many mornings, earned his Hunting Retriever Champion and Master Hunter titles, was featured on multiple tv shows, sired some incredible pups, never had a bad day, and loved big. What I didn’t know, he taught me.
Today, with shattered hearts, we told Blue “thank you” and “see you later”. The house is empty without him this evening and he left a hole that will never be filled.
