We were delighted to “try out” our new event/gathering space here in Monmouth at our family home.

First Baptist Church Independence is wrapping up hosting a 7 week Mid-Valley Women of Christ Bible Study by Jennifer Rothschild, “Heaven: When Faith Becomes Sight.”

Salwa Aswad, who is part of the study & originally from the Middle East, did an amazing job of sharing her culture through food & table decor depicting the symbolism described in the Marriage Supper of the Lamb.

A foretaste of Heaven indeed!
