We are still about $2k short on our medical bills for the kitties and Miss Lavender (mama to 5 of the kitties). We are working to get all of them fixed and vetted before they are ready for adoption. Once they are done with their medical work, some of them will be ready immediately for pre-adoption. If you are able to donate, any amount is helpful!!! If you aren’t able to donate, please consider donating your time on June 6th at the Wicked Wine Run. We still need 25 volunteers for that event and it’s our biggest fundraising event of the year! We get paid for each volunteer that shows up so please consider donating your time!

These three came from the same colony as our space litter and with them added to the crew, we are definitely feeling the financial strain. We now have 13 kittens, all under 6 months old in addition to housing all the adult cats in our lounge. We are desperately in need of donations to keep up with all our expenses and to get all 13 kittens fixed. We estimate that it will be about $8,000 to get everyone fully vetted (including the mama to our two week old kiddos) and get them all ready for adoption.

So we are now in crisis mode. We had someone walk in today with these 5 FRESH kittens (about 2 weeks old) and their mama who have been living in one of their relatives back yard.
Yesterday, we scheduled the intake of the remaining three space litter kitties so they’ll be coming in soon as well. We are definitely at the end of our financial rope and we need help to handle all of this. We have a foster home lined up for mama and babies so once her intake period is done, we’ll see if she needs to go into a foster home for closer observation. We also have some of the mama and baby cat food stocked up (we always have some this time of year) as well as emergency nursing supplies in case mama decides to stop nursing any of them. Luckily mama is being a very good mama cat to her babies and they’re all OVER the standard weight for their age by quite a bit so we don’t think she’ll stop nursing them. We just always like to be prepared for worst case scenarios.
We desperately need financial donations right now to help us manage this new load. All of the babies, their mama, our space litter AND the new three coming in later today, will need all their medical work done before they can be adopted. We are very excited to be getting ready for PRIDE MONTH!!! Being a q***r owned business in Oregon has honestly been amazing and I can say that we have felt more love than hate from the communities we’ve been a part of.
If you haven’t had the chance yet, make sure you check out the Westside Q***r Resource Center’s Guide to Pride for all the local Pride events going on in the area! If you know of any others that aren’t on the list, you’re even able to add those for others in the community so everyone can stay in the loop!
On another note, we are still trying to fundraise enough for all our kitties to get their medical work done! Our goal is to raise $3000 before the end of the month so we can get them all scheduled ASAP!

We have 5 kitties that are in need of medical work, 3 more coming in soon, rent to be paid and bills that unfortunately don’t wait for kitties. We are hoping to raise at least another $3,000 before the end of the month just to get back to a point of stability. If you aren’t able to donate financially, please consider signing up to volunteer with us at our fundraiser event on June 6th at Left Coast Estate. The more volunteer spots we fill, the larger the amount they donate to us per volunteer. We are heavily relying on that event to do well, especially if we can’t meet our $3,000 goal before the end of the month through our own fundraising. It’s very important that we raise enough so we can get all these kitties taken care of!

WE DO NOT DECLAW/OFFER DECLAWS/SUPPORT DECLAWING OF CATS.

It was brought to our attention that there was a post on Britslist asking if people were aware that we were offering declawing of cats. Thank goodness the post was removed within minutes.

To be clear...

WE DO NOT DECLAW/OFFER DECLAWS/SUPPORT DECLAWING OF CATS. We OFFER a complimentary nail trim for indoor cats. How this could ever be confused with declawing is unknown.
