Last but not least… there’s one more to add to the crew! They got flea treated and bathed so they’re much less itchy now. They’ll get their dewormer first thing tomorrow. Poor baby was absolutely starving…

Thankfully they seem to be improving and they’re all much more active, playing with each other and engaging with me a lot more! I’m so glad they’re doing better and I honestly think they’re starting to realize that what I’m doing is helping them since they used to flail and fight me when I’d put ointment on their eyes but they’re much calmer when I do that now. They’re tussling and climbing up and down the kennel so I know they’re slowly getting their s***k back after they’ve been so sick for a while. I don’t even want to think of what would’ve happened to them if we hadn’t been here to help. They’re all safe and on their way to being healthy, adoptable kitties!

Thank you Whisker and Litter-Robot by Whisker for gifting us two brand new litter robot 4s!!! We could be happier to add these to our lounge where they’ll join our existing two litter robot 4s! These have been such a huge blessing for us in our lounge space since we regularly house over 20 cats in the lounge these days. A lot of us running this operation have chronic health/pain issues that make it difficult to scoop a lot of manual boxes and this has saved our backs, wrists and noses! It has seriously helped keep the space clean and the cats absolutely love having a clean litter box every single time they go potty. It makes their quality of life much better and gives us on staff the ability to focus on more important things.
Once again, thank you to Whisker for donating these two units to us! We are so incredibly thankful for this blessing during this difficult time for us! 💜

I’m so tired and I just want us to be financially stable. I want to be able to accept these kinds of intakes without worrying about whether I’ll be able to still pay our rent. Their lives shouldn’t be dictated but how much money we have available but that’s the unfortunate reality we’re living in. We can’t help them all but I can do as much as I possibly can for these 5 kittens and get them all fed and healthy again.

Currently crying my way thru their intake work.
He refused to fill out paperwork at all, he only said he would dump them where he found them if we don’t take them. Dropped $1 in our tip jar, took the empty carrier back and left. I’m shaking and I can’t even begin to process the situation, all I can do is focus on getting these kids taken care of.

There’s still time to get your movie tickets before tomorrow night!!

In just under a week, we will be having our next movie night and we will be showing Space Balls!
Pacific University bought ALL of our November movie night tickets for their students so if this movie night does well, we’re thinking of hosting a special Halloween movie night on the 28th (the following Wednesday) where we’d show Hocus Pocus! If that’s something you’d want to see us put on, show us by filling all our seats for this upcoming movie night next Wednesday!
