Layne & Sassy both do not have yards at home to run free in. Both of their moms are always SO thrilled to see videos like this of their little pup having the best time leaping and bounding around our big open grassy yard with friends here at Sit Stay & Play!🩷 🐶🐕

Being able to provide a safe & fun atmosphere for my clients’ beloved fur babies is something I love being able to do every single day! 🥰

We hope everyone had a wonderful 4th of July! 🤗🐶 The fur-babies that boarded with us this weekend were comfortable and cozy, listening to smooth jazz and completely unaware of any stressful events going on outside. 😁🎇

We will just stick to Shadows version of 4th of July with her imaginary firework show (picture two) 😂❤️

Our daycare crew today enjoyed a few quick laps around the yard several times spread out through the day today. This heat is no joke! 🥵

As much as the pups want to stay outside and play, we make sure to limit our time outside and encourage indoor play on days when the heat is extreme like today. & always providing fresh, cold water of course 😁🐶💦

Be sure to know the signs of heat exhaustion or heat stroke in your pups on hot days like today:

Welcome Tobias and Coco! 🥰 These boys brought the perfect balance of puppy snuggles and puppy party to our house last weekend. From playing endless fetch to snuggling it up together on the couch, we had a wonderful weekend with them during the first stay! 🫶🐶

Did you know that more pets go missing around the Fourth of July than almost any other time of the year? It’s true!

With 4th of July right around the corner, now is the time to be informed about Pet Safety! ❤️🎆

As a fellow pet owner, animal lover and advocate, and small business owner, I want to share a few simple ways to help keep your pets safe for this 4th! This is important to keep in mind because even dogs who normally seem confident year round can become frightened by fireworks and loud or extreme noises.

So here are my 4 tips for the 4th! 🌟🇺🇸

1. Make sure your pets ID tags and microchips are up to date with current address and contact information. 🏠🐕

2. Keep pets indoors during fireworks. Plan ahead for potty breaks before the sun goes down in order to limit the amount of outside exposure your dogs will have during peak hours of fireworks. 🎇

3. Close any windows, blinds, and curtains. This will help block any flashes of light that could suddenly spook your pup! 🙈

4. Try your best to provide a quiet, comfortable space where they can relax. This might be hard when it is so loud outside, but you can also play music or white noise to help mask outside sounds. 🎵🥰

& please don’t forget that just because your pet has been fine with fireworks in the past, it does not mean they will always be okay with them. Age and circumstances can change the situation from dog to dog. It’s always better to be safe than sorry!🐶

I am already fully booked for this 4th of July for boarding, but do have more open availability starting Monday, July 6th, for both daycare and boarding. ❤️🤍💙
