Happy Sunday!

Sharing a little behind‑the‑scenes look at Otie’s temporary home. Since he’s reached the age where hormones start kicking in, we’ve moved him into his own space until his neuter appointment. It keeps things calm and prevents any tension with his mom and aunt.

Once he’s neutered and fully healed, we’re planning to work on rebonding the three of them. It can take patience and slow introductions, but we’re hopeful they’ll be able to live together again.

For now, here’s his setup—simple, safe, and comfortable. He is let out often and gets plenty of exercise time.

Wishing everyone a relaxing weekend.

**Update** She has unfortunately decided to rehome Reese and Buttercup. Please reach out if you are interested. They are extremely bonded so must go together

We have an owner who adopted two of our Holland Lop siblings (13 weeks old, partial pedigree). She’s currently in a financial bind and may need to rehome them. It’s not definite, but she wanted to put a feeler out to see if anyone might be interested.
She would sell all supplies for an indoor setup at reasonable price.
They’re currently separated with supervised time together since they’re very bonded but old enough to breed. They have not been spayed/neutered yet.

If you might be interested in adopting them, please reach out.

Memorial Day is the most expensive holiday on the calendar. Every hot dog, every burger, every spin around the lake, or drink with friends and family… is a debt purchased by others.

This day isn’t about all who have served — that day comes in the fall.
This one honors those who paid in life and blood; whose moms never saw them again, whose dads wept in private, whose wives raised kids alone, and whose children only remember them from pictures.

It isn’t simply a day off. It’s a day to remember that others paid for every free breath you ever get to take.
Freedom.

Lowes had a beautiful display to show respect to fallen heroes.
Today, I especially remember the sacrifice of Maj. Adrianna M. Vorderbruggen and her team. They will never be forgotten. 🇺🇸

This is such great information for new bunny owners

Rabbits can be amazing pets, but they have some very normal behaviors that surprise first-time owners! Here are a few common bunny habits to expect:

• Nibbling or biting – Rabbits may nip if they’re scared, overstimulated, protecting their space, or trying to communicate. Gentle handling and trust-building help a lot.

• Chewing EVERYTHING – Rabbits need to chew constantly to keep their teeth healthy. Wires, baseboards, blankets, and furniture are all tempting, so bunny-proofing is important!

• Digging – Totally natural behavior. Blankets, carpets, litter boxes, and even your couch may become “digging zones.”

• Thumping – A loud stomp with the back feet usually means they’re startled, annoyed, or warning of danger.

• Zoomies & binkies – Random running, jumping, and twisting in the air means a happy bunny!

• Territorial behavior – Some rabbits can be protective of cages, litter boxes, or favorite spots.

• Shedding – Rabbits shed A LOT during seasonal molts, and regular brushing helps prevent hair buildup.

• Litter habits – Most rabbits can be litter trained, but accidents still happen sometimes.

• Social needs – Rabbits are intelligent, emotional animals that need attention, enrichment, and space to exercise daily.

Bunnies are not “easy starter pets” (or good for small children) they require patience, proper diet, vet care, and understanding of their natural instincts. But with time and trust, they can become incredibly loving companions.

Happy Mother's Day to all my friends and followers.

Gave Willow stacking cups for the first time and she turned it into a whole event.
Do NOT stop watching before the 31‑second mark. Trust me. 😂👏
