💚 In Loving Memory of Olivia 💚

Today I learned that one of my sweet little clients, Olivia, has crossed the Rainbow Bridge. 🌈🐾

It’s never easy saying goodbye to the pets we grow to know and love. They become more than appointments on the schedule—they become little personalities we look forward to seeing, and each one leaves a paw print on our hearts.

I feel incredibly grateful that I got to spend time with Olivia and help her feel fresh, comfortable, and beautiful. She was such a sweetheart, and I’ll always remember her precious little face and how happy she was 💚

My heart goes out to her family during this difficult time. Thank you for trusting me to care for your beautiful girl.

Just a quick heads-up for all of my wonderful clients!

I’ll be out of town next week spending some much-needed time with family and taking care of a few personal appointments. During that time, my response times may be a little slower than usual.

I’ll still be checking messages when I can and will get back to everyone as soon as possible. If you’re reaching out for an appointment, please know I’m currently booking a bit further out than usual, but I’ll be happy to add you to my schedule or cancellation list if an opening comes up.

🐾 Did you know your dog’s paw pads can tell you a lot about their health?

We spend a lot of time looking at our pets’ faces, ears, and coats—but their paws often go unnoticed until they’re hurting.

Healthy paw pads should be soft, flexible, and free of deep cracks. During walks, they protect your dog from hot pavement, rough terrain, thorns, and debris. Hair growing between the paw pads can also trap dirt, burrs, moisture, and even tiny splinters, leading to discomfort or infection.

✨ A few easy ways to help at home:
• Check your pet’s paws once a week.
• Keep the fur between the pads neatly trimmed.
• Rinse paws after hikes or walks through rough areas.
• Use a pet-safe paw balm if the pads become dry or cracked.
• If your dog is constantly licking their feet, don’t ignore it—it could be allergies, irritation, or something stuck between the pads.

Beginning July 1st, there will be a small price increase on grooming services.

As many of you know, the cost of products, equipment, utilities, and everyday business expenses has continued to rise. To continue providing the one-on-one care, quality products, and gentle grooming your pets deserve, I need to make a small adjustment to my pricing.

I am incredibly grateful for every family that trusts me with their beloved pets. Your support of my small business means more than you know, and I truly appreciate each and every one of you.

La Loba Grooming Den is officially ONE YEAR OLD 🐾😭💛

This past year has taught me so much — patience, confidence, problem solving, and how much I truly love helping pets feel clean, comfortable, and cared for. It hasn’t always been easy balancing life, kids, and grooming, but I’m so grateful for every client that has trusted me with their babies along the way. 💛

Thank you to everyone who has supported, shared posts, referred friends, been patient with me while I continue learning and growing, and helped make this little dream possible. Seeing repeat clients and familiar wagging tails means more to me than you know.

❄️ Cold Weather Reminder from La Loba ❄️

With the cold temperatures moving in, please remember that Short-haired, senior, and small pets are especially vulnerable in freezing weather.

• Limit time outdoors
• Protect paws from cold ground and ice
• Watch for shivering, lethargy, or lifting paws
• Make sure pets have warm, dry places to rest
• When in doubt, bring them inside

If it’s too cold for you, it’s too cold for them.
Stay warm, stay safe, and take extra care of your sacred paws this weekend 🐾🤍
