Meg is a 10 year old grade mare. She is super broke she will collect up while your riding, move of your legs side pass both directions, spin both ways, and she starting to figure her stop out. And how to get on her back end more when she stops. I’ve let my wife ride her she has had kids ride her but I’ve never had any young kids ride her I’ve only had her in training for a month.
🌟She has been used weekly outside gathering, sorting cows, I’ve also roped and doctored a handful on her as well she has been awesome and she can watch a cow and is really fun to sort on.
🌟We have also been doing a lot of roping on her. She was started lightly before she came to me and had mainly roped the dummy. Since being with us she has run about 5–6 steers on the heel side 3 days a week and breakaway rope 4 calves 2 times a week. We have hauled her away from the house a few times to other practice pens but mainly stayed at are facilities.
This being said this mare is one that you would want in your pen you can ride her out moving and gathering cows, send her to the team roping pen or even look at going to some team sorting on her. I think she would be an awesome team sorting horse she is super fun to sort cows on in the pen. She can sort calves from cows, or just sort plan old cows all day!
