Early cold morning going to rope cattle in the pasture are some of are favorite mornings. This is one thing I strongly believe makes any horse ready for the job if they can handle the pressure of outside work then they will be physically and mentally ready for anything inside the arena and show pens.

Turbo is a coming 4 year old AQHA registered gelding standing at 15.1 hands and built right. I have no need to sale him and wouldn’t feel bad if this one stayed in my corral for a while. But this is what our family does for a living and we feel that Turbo is one that can make a name for us whereever he is!!! We have used him extensively on the ranch from gathering the mountains all fall, roping and loading bulls, roping and doctoring yearlings. He has definitely seen his fair share of long hard days and he is one that won’t leave you hanging in the time of needing a job done. He is also one you take a Sunday ride with your 1 year old daughter cause he let us do that during the deer hunt this year. We just recently started him in the team roping heading and heeling. He took to both sides like a pro. First time he acted like he had been doing it for months. I personally believe he has the ability to go where ever someone desires him to take him. Whether that be a futurity prospect for 2026 or your next World Series and Tuesday night jackpot horse. The longer he stays the higher his price tag will go as we have plans to get him ready to go to the futurities in 2026 as we strongly believe he has the potential to be a outstanding rope horse.

Little throw back Thursday. This was a badger a 6 year old gelding we started heading steers. He came to us and had only tracked the dummy a hand full of times. After 3 months with us this is a video of him at his first jackpot a week before he went home. We came back 3 times to the short round can’t ask for much better!!! Key-Lix Livestock Supplements

This is definitely a high light for us this is penny a mare that was bought as a yearling by our family. Zeak was able to start her and put her first 90 days on her. Then started her heeling late into her 3 year old year. Then the summer of her 4 year old year he started heading on her. She was hauled a little bit last summer heeling but this summer she got the call not only to go heel but head at her first rodeo!!! She scored and hit the barrier perfect with no hesitation.
