Quad City PAWS (Pets Are Worth Saving) is a private non-profit organization whose sole purpose is to support the needs of the animals of the Rock Island County Animal Care & Control Shelter. These goals were established by the Rock Island County Animal Care and Control Board of Directors and Rock Island County. Our Mission:
To protect the welfare, health and safety of pets and people and promote

responsible pet ownership. Our Philosophy:

To be progressive in the animal welfare field by providing quality care to the animals; an aggressive spay and neuter program; and striving for placement of all adoptable pets where euthanasia is performed as a last resort. Our Position:

Dogs- $100
Puppies 8 weeks - 6 months - $250
Puppies 7 months - 1 year - $150

Lennox and Mazy have been at the shelter soo long it is time to find them homes for their forever!

Come by the shelter ask to see the dogs in the yard, so many are soo stressed.

😺 Ryan, male, 2 months old, playful, so cute!

😸 Mouse, male, 2 months old, his brother Clipper and Dipper got adopted today. He's super sweet

😽 Sugar, female, 4 months old (sister Spice was adopted today), skittish but will need some time to decompress

😻 Adele & Zane, brother and sister, they have high octane energy and so fun to watch them play. They are 4 months old.

New faces and names!

🛑 Mowgli (Nibbs), male, 1.6 years old, owner release due to Mowgli getting into the crib with baby, he's sweet and very confused as to why he's back

🛑 Wh**ey, female, 9.6 years old, she's extremely sweet, will nibble on your fingers, gentle with claws

🛑 Justin, male, 1.6 years old, stray, went from kennel to free roaming room today, extremely playful and seemed to do okay with the other cats too

🛑 Zebby, male, 5 years old, came in as a stray. He moved into the free roaming room today too. He loves people and likes to play.

We have a 2 day old baby (no, mother wasn't around) that needs a foster to bottle feed 2-3 hours around the clock for a few weeks. Then to care for it when it gets older until about 8 weeks. Do you have time to do this? A room away from other animals in the home? We provide all the supplies you will need. Please private message me and I will direct you to the shelter . - Julie
