Hello all!
Heading into this new year we have a few announcements to share.
We have held off as long as we possibly could, but after over 5 years, it’s come time to adjust our open riding fees again. Please know, we try hard to not change these, but in order for us to continue providing a safe, quality and OPEN place to ride, we have to adjust with the rising costs hitting left and right.
Effective Feb 1st, 2026 our new fees are as follows:
Day Ride: $15/rider, up to 3 horses
Night Ride: $25/rider, up to 3 horses
Monthly DAY Pass: $75/rider + $10 additional for lights per night ride
Monthly NIGHT Pass: $125/rider
***Please visit our website large arena rules section for full description of these fees/passes and to review all our current arena rules.
https://crowleyranchllc.com/large-arena #/large-arena-rules
On that note, we’d like to draw attention to the fact that we do indeed only have 17 arena rules and expect them all to be well known and respected.
All rules are clearly explained in the above mentioned section of our website and are updated to include these three NEW RULES:
New rules effective Jan. 1st, 2026:
Rule #6. Baby/young/problem horses:
We understand the need to haul these horses; however, if they cannot stand tied without excessive pawing, digging holes, rearing, kicking out, pulling back, chewing the posts or other destructive/dangerous behaviors, they become a liability to persons, property and other horses and will not be permitted at our facility.
Horses (of any age) observed demonstrating the above said behaviors will be asked to leave the property at our (Crowley’s) discretion and not permitted to return.
This rule applies to ANY and ALL areas of the property, including inside the arena, outside the arena, parking areas and all tie areas.
***If you wouldn’t leave your horse in your trailer because they would “tear it apart” then they do not need to be here tearing our facility apart either.
Rule #7. Any damage done by persons, horses, dogs or vehicles to our facility will not be tolerated. Anyone who either accidentally or willfully commits damage to any aspect of our facility will be expected to pay for any and all repairs necessary at the discretion of Steve and/or Kelli Crowley.
This includes, but is not limited to, gravel, dirt, sand, posts, panels and equipment.
***For example:
If your horse digs a hole in our gravel, dirt or auxiliary sand pile, you will be responsible for paying to repair and/or replace all damaged materials, including labor for repairs at the discretion of Steve and/or Kelli Crowley.
If your horse chews a hole in our wood support posts, you will be responsible for paying to repair and/or replace all damaged materials, including labor for repairs at the discretion of Steve and/or Kelli Crowley.
Rule #17. Payment method:
We accept cash and check primarily, with personal Venmo offered on an individual basis.
Any retuned checks will incur a $20 fee in addition to the recuperated riding fee amount on the original returned check.
More than one retuned check from any individual may result in a permanent ban from our facility.
Again, we encourage all riders and visitors of Crowley Ranch to familiarize themselves with our facility rules.
We’d like to also take this time to remind everyone of some long-standing rules that we have observed being regularly forgotten:
Rule #13. Children are welcome at our facility, but MUST be accompanied by an adult at all times. Any child of any age observed playing in the boarding barns, driveway, parking lot or any other area of the facility without adult supervision will be escorted back to their parent immediately and reminded of this rule. Repeated violation may result in a permanent ban from our facility.
WE ARE NOT A DAYCARE, PLAYGROUND PARK OR PETTING ZOO.
Kids are NOT to run around the facility grounds, climb on or play with any equipment, tractors, gates, fences, roping barrier system, etc.
***DO NOT pull the roping barrier rope system down at any time!
There is a constant flow of traffic in and out of our facility as well as multiple horses and riders of varied skill levels, therefore, it is in the best interest of everyone’s safety for all children to remain quiet, calm and under CONSTANT ADULT SUPERVISION while at our facility.
Rule #15. No alcohol is allowed on the premises, and no glass bottles of any kind are permitted inside the arena. Additionally, no one should at any time be arriving or leaving our facility while intoxicated or under the influence of any other substances. Anyone caught doing so will be immediately reported to local law enforcement and not permitted back on our property.
We hope to continue to be the place you come to enjoy your horses for many years to come, please understand all of this is taking necessary steps to make that possible!
Sincerely,
Steve and Kelli Crowley
